The weather here seems to gone back to its cold damp self here in Scotland, hopefully where you are its brighter and maybe even warmer!! Has your Monday been ok so far? Mines has been uneventful so far, but its early lol!

Now this fortnight at Crafty Cardmakers the lovely Kim had picked the theme for us

Here's what I made

For the recipe I picked my sweet lil Tilda image coloured with promarkers, 2 sheets from my My Minds Eye "lost and found" papers and the embellishments I used are ribbon, flowers and heart gems! Oh and I added another wee heart for Tilda to stand in lol!

I just finished off some orders and then decide I would ink up some "unloved" sugar!

Challenge - Day 4

I adore all my Sugar Nellie stamps but always forget them when I go to make a card and decided I better dig them out and get some use from my poor "Unloved" rubber! So with that in mind I knew I would enter the Sugar Bowl that I haven't played in for ages and also combine it with the fab Facebook Challenge too!

How cute is wee Elise? I always forget how much I love to colour her with my promarkers, tho sadly shes out of stock if you fancied getting her yourself!

Hope your all having a lovely Sunday and enjoy the gorjuss sunshine that is popped out! We had a lovely wee morning taking the dog out then a wee look down the Garden centres before coming home for a wee bowl of soup! Now just a wee relaxing afternoon!

Evening all

OMG! But what has the weather been like today where you are??

Here in my wee part of Scotland, we've had every type of weather possible and then some! Snow and sun, rain and sleet, wind and hailstones and more sun! What a day it has been, but the perfect weather to hide in your craft room and craft lol!

Day 3

Today's wee card was inspired my some amazing cards I've seen over on Facebook, I'm not as talented but had to have a go! I used a sketch that sadly ended today but was fab to use and another of my Saturated Canary digi's!

Isn't she a wee cutie? I loved the wee ribbon in her hair and the lil tongue sticking out!

Evening all

Hope you are all having a lovely Friday? I have had an amazing wee day!

My super lovely Hubby took mw off too Craft World at Hillington and spoiled me rotten, so many goodies to play with now heee! Then we went to the New Riverside Museum aka the old Transport Museum!It was just fab, all modern but with all the good old stuff it had before! I was worried that the wee old cobbled street would not be moved but YIPPEE it was there! I remember running along that wee street as a child lol! And then we went for a wee late lunch early dinner before getting home! Bliss!!!

Now onto Day 2 of the Challenge

After seeing a friend post some fab layouts on Pinterest, I just had to have a nose! I came across Pagemaps (check February Maps for the sketches), a great place for sketches that teams up your Spellbinders too!

So after picking my fav layout I knew the pupster was going to be the star again lol!

The papers I got last year and naughtily hadn't touched till now heeee! Some distressing, ink, buttons, ribbon and LOTV stamps with my letter stickers and my layout was finished!

Good Morning all my lovelies

Thanks to all the lovely comments I got yesterday, the really made me smile!

Now I thought I would "Challenge Myself" after what the lovely Lynne had done! She challenged herself to 15 sketches in 15 days!! Sounds easy???? I know its going be so so so hard, so as a way to get my mojo on again this is just what I need!

So, I've decided to have 15 NEW creations in 15 days start today!

As my lovely friend is due any time and is having a little Boy, I knew this would be a great place to start!

BOOOOOOO!!!

Yip its me .................. still here lol!

So sorry to all my lovely followers, things have just gone from extreme to another here in my wee world! I'm hoping that after the weekend, my friend has her baby and my mums next operation I'll be back on form! Ok, I can hope heeeee

Now I wanted to sure some more wee projects I made with the Sarah Hurley's Valentine release, its not just for Valentines you know

This is a wee scrapbook page of the lovely Hubby using my Kraft paper and all the delish papers from the collection, some scraps of ribbon and some doodles! Easy and quick with the papers

Here's a lil card I made again with some Kraft and that spotty paper! I added a wee image that came free with my mag coloured with promarkers and wee hand cut hearts!

And lastly another wee Scrapbook page! this time a 8x8 one using all the different papers together to layer against each other! Some pics of "US", some text, a wee title and some elements in the digi kit!

So so so so SORRY for lack of posts, things have just been hectic plus chaotic with a wee bit madness thrown in too for a very long hard week!

Have you all be having a lovely weekend? Its bit cold here in Scotland but just the weather for a good walk with the dog! Who now is snoring at my feet exhausted lol!!

Hope everyone is well out there in BLOGLAND?? I'm doing fabby and am utterly excited about having my wee craft room all decorted!

Ok I still have to finish painting a couple of things and add the doors to the units but its finished woop woop! So without all the drumroll and stuff here it is

So it was kinda plain and very empty compared to now!

Hope everyone is doing finer out there and getting back to normal after the Christmas break?

Its been terrible up here in Scotland with the terrible gales! So much damage to houses around this area plus all the fallen trees! We have been really luck and the only damage was to the wheelie bin! Hope you didn't suffer too much damage!

Sarah Hurley Challenge - Buttons xxx

Morning all

This is a little scheduled post as I'm currently staying at my wee Mummies keeping her company and probably driving her insane with my total randomness heeeeee! She's on the mend now tho no luck with the last operation, so a good 10-12 weeks of getting better before we can have a good wee girly night out!!

Now its time for another fab wee Sarah Hurley Challenge and this time I got to pick the theme and I picked

BUTTONS

I do love buttons! Lots of them, all sizes, colours and types! They always add some fun to a crafty creations! here's what I came up with

I used the delish papers from Sarah's new Tinseltown CD plus a few of the journalling tags, added lots and lots of button strung along some gold string ribbon with pics of last years Christmas tree!

Afternoon all

Apologies again for lack of posts but Mums appointment didn't go well and had another operation! She's doing ok and hopefully we'll find out more on Monday! Thank you to everyone's kind words and thoughts, meant so much to me and my family!!

Hi all

Hope everyone is well out there in wee bloggy land? Have you been having a nice weekend? Mines has been good and bad so far!

Mum had her results yesterday and they weren't good so we gotta wait till Tuesday to see the surgeon, keeping fingers all crossed! On the plus side I had craft club yesterday morning and we made these fab lil fleece hats that my lovely friend Patricia showed us how to! She makes the most awesome baby blankets and hats, please check out her wee page Sew Snuggly! Then last night was the yearly Lanark firework display! It was just fantastic, better than last year! Guess you're never to old to ohhhh and ahhh away lol!!

Hope all is well in little blogland today? Are you all having a good week? Mines has been hectic and plus a incident with a sewing machine getting broken!! Numpty that I am! Just when we need it for Craft Club on Saturday for our monthly class poor hubby goes and drops it, while doing a million and one other things for me!! Poor hubby feels awful, but we might be able to save it FINGERS CROSSED!!

Evening my lovelies

And how are all my lovely bloggers tonight? Have you all had a good weekend and got too enjoy some of the sunshine?

I've had a lovely weekend, quiet but nice! Had craft club on Saturday morning and made a lovely wee Christmas decoration, then finished Hubby's birthday card!! Today I've been baking since 10 am then decorating Hubby's 30th Birthday cake till after 5! My feet hurt and I'm exhausted but the finished product is rather good if I do say so myself hee

Good morning my lovelies

Firstly I'm so sorry I haven't been around AT ALL!! I have been ill since I got back from my lovely holiday, I wont bore you with details but lets just say ................... pain, hospital, pain, bleugh and not be able to do anything!!

I'm doing fine now but still not 100%!! But I'm still behaving because if I don't my wee DV team will come around and kick my butt lol!! I promise girls I'm being really good!!

So Mexico was utterly amazing!! The weather was beautiful, so warm and sunny! The people were lovely and couldn't do enough for you! The food .................. OMG!! The restaurants were delish and the buffet restaurant was the size of tescos! So much choice and anything you wanted they would make! I lived on nachos and salsa nearly the whole holiday heeee

Hi everyone

Yippee I'm still sunning my wee self in Mexico so another scheduled post!

Well its the start of another month, which means its The Craft Gardens monthly challenge and this time wee have a wee picture inspiration to get all your crafts brains buzzing!

We want to see Autumnal colours and creations from you all! With Autumn just beginning its the perfect Challenge to get you in the mood for Fall! I've made a lil card using the utterly fabulous BLOOMS from The Craft Garden shop and my delish Prima Madeline papers

Again I couldn't get a great pick of the wee quote, doesn't help with the script on the paper I think! It says

Good morning all

Is it wet and miserable where you are?? Its been raining non-stop for 2 days here in my wee part of Scotland! So much rain, flooding but still so clammy, but I'm still happy heee!! My big bro just arrived home from months at sea so I'm just happy no matter the weather hee!

Good afternnon lovelies

Hope all is well out there in blogland and you are all keeping well?

This is a wee scheduled post as I'm currently having a wee day out with Hubby! We're at the new Whitelee Wind Farm and Visitors Centre, having a wee picnic and hopefully getting plenty pics! Hopefully it stays dry long enough for us to wonder through the huge windmills! Not only am I having a wee day today I have been getting spoiled since Friday! Craft stuff, holiday goodies and even some wee pennies to buy some papers I seen online, how GOOD is my Hubby to me!!??

Where has the sun gone?? Its so dull, dark and terribly clammy, guess that's our summer tho!!

I spent yesterday reading and then sort of planted some of my home-grown bedding plants, but very unsuccessful so hubby was left to do them! We still have 2 full trays of Livingston Daisy's, just need another few tubs hee!

So sorry for the lack of posts, my wrists has been killing me and then I pushed my luck a bit only to end up in agony and not sleeping for the pain! I've promised Hubby I will be really good and not do a thing and he says when I'm better a wee craft shop trip will be my reward!! Hee I SO SO PROMISE TO BE GOOD!!

Oz Sneak Peek xxx

Afternoon all

So I hope your all well out there in blogland?? As the post says I have a wee peek for you of Sarah Hurley's new CD "Oz"!! But before I have a wee bit of a idiot moment to tell you about!

As I'm trying to type this left handed with one finger I'm banned from crafting for 2 weeks!!! YES 2 WEEKS!!

I spent 3hrs in A&E yesterday after losing my footing coming into the conservatory and trying to save my camera and the card I had just been picture(the one below)!

They couldn't make out anything in the x-rays as there was too much swelling, but they were sure it wasn't broken! But I do have a lovely fracture and some colourful tissue damage, all shades of the rainbow! So the numpty idiot that I am cant do anything at all! No crafting boohoo

Oh and I just got some new goodies and I cant even play with them!! Anyone wanna come play so they don't feel lonely and unwanted???

Anyways, enough of me!

Morning all

Brrrr, its cold today! Raining, dull and cold hmmmm sounds like summer has been and gone!! Typical Scottish weather! Hope where you are is better than here!!

Today I have something a little different for you all, something I've been trying and failing to do for a long time! So I need all your opinions on my wee creation!

After a while tho, it started to look like something(whether that was to much staring or me just going mad)

So after a few attempts and some BAKING later, here is what I came up with

Yeah,I tired my hand at making a wee fimo character with a jam jar toadstool lol

What do you think?? Is it ok??

I painted the inside of the jar white, made the toadstool top with fimo formed on the lid the made the wee character following a books instructions for sugar paste characters(thanks mum, it was amazing wee gift)! Then added some lil flowers, glitter and all done hee!

We created scoreboard animations for all the Major League Baseball teams as well as the Super Bowl and the Olympics In 1989 I started my own animation studio.
