Hello my pretty people

Oh what s this darn weather like??

One day sun then snow and now today rain, sleet and hail the size of maltesers!! Well it is Scotland I'm in can't expect anything less lol! Maybe this time next week the sun will be back, fingers crossed!

Its been busy wee week with me getting orders finished and things ready for others! Even managed a trip to the cinema with hubby and wee naughty food treat too! Yesterday we spent the day sorted the garden, first day to properly weed and de-winter it! The sun was lovely beating on me while weeded, just what I needed!

Today sadly its indoors day! Ok not really that bad, DVDs and crochet with some card making is just perfect lol!

Now I never got a chance to post this last week but as you still have under a week to enter the wee Challenge at Dream Valley Challenges, here it is now

I sneaked into hubby's workshop, stole some MDF and his lil jigsaw to make the Butter fly shapes before turning into mini canvas/scrap pages!

afternoon all

I do hope you all had a good weekend and got to enjoy the sunshine before this wind and rain appeared again? We did! Off we went in the caravan for its first outing of the year! We had a blast!

tho Tillie wasn't impressed with him

The site was stunning and had lots of nice walks for us, plus just 20 odd mile from Dumfries! Just what we needed for the first break of the year lol! The owner was so lovely, such a nice wee lady so helpful and couldn't do enough for you!

Anyways enough of our mini break, here's a wee card I was asked to make

Well hello strangers

What can I say??

Things have been rough here for lil me but I'm still smiling lol!

I won't bore you with all the details but lets just say things have went from bad to worse to good and great and then worse again! Trips to hospital, falls, bruises and lots of blood taking then catching the dreaded flu for 4 WEEKS all with trying one med after the other!

But I'm not complaining, just getting bit bored with being ill and felling bad that everyone else is so worried about me! Wish I could stop them all from worrying! I just get on with it and hoe that "today" will be a good day! 

So enough of that!

Howe are you lot doing? I do hope you are all well out there and not suffered with the rotten weather! We've been lucky, even when the bad storm hit the council actually had our roads almost all clear within a few days!

In between bumps and bruises I've been spoiled by my wonderful hubby!

OMG! Isn't "Wall-e" just fab!

Yes I named it lol!! Its sounds a bit like my fav little Disney Character when its cutting away, making some lovely sounds! Not only was I so over come when I walked in to find this sitting in our living-room Valentines morning, I fainted lol! Too much excitement for me, I thinks!

Afternoon my lovelies

I hope you are all doing well on this cold blustery Monday?

Its absolutely blowing a gale out there today, can hear creaks and cracks now and again! But me and the pupster are happily sitting in the craft room at the heater staying cosy! Her snoozing at my feet while I colouring and do this!

hello my lovelies

Has the weather let up where you are??

We still have the snow but not falling anymore but its turning colder, which means frost ekkkkkk! I'm useless at the best of times, but ice and me don't get on at all lol!

I sadly don't have my pillow to share with you like I promised, I have been so busy with "home" things and then I decided to start another project lol! Yeah I know, what am I like! So I decided I would share some of my fav things at the mo

I'm addicted to tacos, since Mexico I think!

So I came across this taco seasoning recipe and not only does it taste amazing its much cheaper as you can make more portions from your cupboard herbs and spices!

I have an chick pea addiction, comes from my years as a veggie

And this hearty chick pea and veg tagine is just whats needed on the cold these cold days! I add add a chopped chilli as well for a bit more heat and miss the apricots (ekkk no thank you)

I love cooking and always like trying new recipes, its lucky that my hubby will try anything! Plus you would never guess I'm such a fussy eater from these two recipes lol!

Here's some crochet projects I just gotta try

This Granny Bobble stitch looks amazing but I still gotta conquer the bobble stitch first!

This utterly cute lil crochet bouquet is fab and a free pattern on Ravelry

and lastly this totally cute lil tea set all crocheted and comes in its own wee bag!

Maybe one day lol!

Well I'm off to finish my commenting, make the chilli for dinner and then get right back on with my orders!

Good morning all

This wee post is a day late so sorry about that!

Anyway, I'm sitting here at my desk staring out the window as I type watching all the snow come down! Probably a good 3 inches have fallen in the past few hours with more set for lunchtime! I love the snow but I know a lot of you don't so I won't go on and on about it lol! Tho I will tell you that me and the pup are heading out to build a snowman heeee

Well hello my lovelies

Has the snow fallen where you are??

Its all gone from here, not even a tiny bit lying in the shadows boooo! Tho if you've seen the weather you'll knew we're supposedly getting battered my snow tomorrow! I'll wait and see tho lol!

So I wanted to share with you a lil crochetness I made the other day

I followed the pattern I found that was over on attic24 and made a lil rose from is also from Lucy's may rose flower pattern!

I attempted to make some more but for some reason couldn't get it started right! Will keep trying tho as wanna make a good few for lil gifts to have on hand! Plus going add lil lavender sachets to them so they smells lovely lol!

I thought I might have my "finished" ruffle cushion (well one side at least) to show you today but since I shared the picture I haven't added any more rows yet! I guess you'll need tio wait another week to see if I get ant further heee! I have been busy clearing out the craft room and finishing some wee orders! Fingers crossed I'll be able to share next week, wish me luck!

Well its a happy wee day for me as you could probably see, my wee blog has had a lil re-vamp!

The lovely Kim over at What Peggy Said worked her amazing magic on my blog and turned "jammie me" into a wee character! Not only is she in her jammies shes got bed head hair, all her crochet stuff, promarkers and butterflies all about her!

Not only have I been getting my blog all pretty, I even had a wee play with my promarkers

Well hello there my loviles

Isn't just horrible today, so foggy damp and a lot cooler than its been!! And we're set for SNOW for 3 weeks, well supposedly! Wait and see tho, its too unpredictable this British weather heee

Anyways, as I mentioned in my last post I have took up CROCHET!

Taught my self in November and now I'm "hooked" as they say! It was only after seeing the lovely Katy's stunning creations I knew I had to try again! And also Nancy, who is so fast at crochet I'm totally awe!

So following lots of you tube video's I made my first Granny Square, was so proud of my wee self lol! 

Now have 50 just need joined lol!

Then I just played about with stitches to get myself more ready to try a pattern! So here's the first thing I made, be gentle!

these were a great hit with my fellow instasgrammers and family and ended up making 11 of these lil poppy brooches! So easy (says me that needed 3 attempts to get it right)!

After that I moved on top something a lil harder but that I never take off in cold weather lol

Its a kids size but perfect for me! I used to wools at the same time to get the funky colour and I just loves it!

Once I made this I knew I could try others and made these 3

a wee owl for me

one for a friend

and a cupcake one for me

I'm totally addicted and can't stop!

I even make poor hubby fetch me wool from the wool shop when I think I "have not the right colour" when I have 30+ balls of wool lol!

The only draw back I've found is I'm rather slow, but who knows I may get quicker as I go on and with all the inspiration out there I know I'll be hooked for life! I've even try making lil amigurumi crochet, working in one continued spiral to form character (Japanese)! But haven't managed that just yet! My cupcake looked more acorn shaped lol!

Katy made one last year and I attempted it then but failed so badly that it went straight in the bin! But I so wanted to try again! So 4 nights ago I gave it ago

Not perfect at alll but not too bad if I do say so myself!

Fingers crossed I'll have more to show next week, going to do a crochet round up once a week if I can!
